A brief history of Penrose Pine Products
Penrose Pine Products began operation in 1939 under the name of Cush Forest Products. Established by Frank Cush during the Second World War, the Sawmill produced wooden boxes for the storage and transportation of goods during the War. In 1946 Frank’s son Warren Cush commenced work with the company and maintained the role of Director until retiring in 1997. Warren’s son Peter Cush, the current Director of Penrose Pine Products came on board in 1981 to help sustain the business. Warren’s second son Greg Cush then came on board in 2007 to continue the growth of the business.
